About me

Painting has always been more than a skill to me — it is my passion, and something that truly warms my heart. There is nothing more special than completing a face and seeing the sparkle in a child’s smile as they look in the mirror.
Mixed Creations was created from both love and lived experience.
As a mother of a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN), I experienced first-hand how difficult it can be for children to access services that should feel joyful and inclusive. I often found that while artists had good intentions, they didn’t always have the understanding or approach needed to support children with additional needs.
There were moments where I had to step in and paint my own child, simply to ensure he felt comfortable, safe, and included.
That experience stayed with me.
What began as a personal response grew into something much bigger — using my creativity not only to support my own child, but to help others.
This is not just face painting.
This is about connection.
This is about confidence.
This is about making sure no child feels left out.
Every face tells a story. Every story matters.
